This painting like most of mine, has a backstory. This father informed his daughter that he had to be away from home for the week of Christmas, but he promised her he would return before Christmas Eve. Each day she would stare out the window looking for her dad, and tonight he finally arrived home. Merry Christmas, I hope you have a Blessed Christmas!
