"Stampede!"

This painting was commissioned for a dear friend who is also one of my favorite collectors. She raised longhorn cattle and wanted me to put her cattle in a stampede. When I first showed her this painting, she pointed to each longhorn and called them by name. Of course, in the reference photos she sent me they were all standing still, but once I started sketching I got them moving!
