Hot off the easel. 16x12 oil on linen. With rope in hand, this cowboy is searching for a lost cow and calf. I know from experience cows tend after they've been in the canyon for a couple of months. The background for this painting is our family's canyon and the cowboy is my little brother Jessie. This painting will be available at the Small Works, Great Wonders show at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Center in Oklahoma City November first.
