"Everything That Glitters Is Gold"

I'll tell you an interesting thing about this painting. The horses and rider are coming down hill so the reflection had to be drawn completely differently from the way they were drawn. If you look at it upside down, you'll instantly see what I mean. The reflection is almost entirely horizontal compared to the horses and rider which are entering the water at a forty-five degree angle. That's what I love about water. Anything can happen. I get to just play with the reflection until it looks interesting.
