I love to try to capture the hustle and bustle of Christmas shoppers in my paintings. For folks that lived in the country, the local general store was where everyone got their Christmas gifts. From dry goods to tools and toys, they sold everything...the original "one stop shopping center". As a bonus, it was also a good place for fellowship, because one was sure to find a friend or relative there. Merry Christmas everybody!
